Will taking zinc throw off copper balance?

This really comes down the dose amount of zinc someone is taking & how well someone absorbs and maintains zinc levels.

Research suggests that the risk of copper imbalances is higher when people supplement high doses of zinc over a long period of time (high doses are normally considered above 45mg).

So taking lower doses (around 15mg) would be beneficial in reducing the risk of creating a copper imbalance.
