Is our magnesium glycinate natural?

Our magnesium glycinate is derived from natural ingredients, however I feel it's important to clarify.

Magnesium itself is a natural mineral found in foods like nuts, seeds, and leafy greens.

However, magnesium glycinate (and all other magnesium forms like citrate, orotate etc.) do not exist in nature or in food.

These forms are created by combining magnesium to other compounds—like glycine in the case of magnesium glycinate (which is a naturally derived amino acid)—to improve absorption and effectiveness.

So yes, our magnesium is derived from natural sources, but it is not extracted from food (the same goes for all Magnesium supplements).
