Are our ingredients natural or synthetic?

We formulate our products using naturally derived ingredients, with a focus on clean, bioavailable sources. For example:

  • Vitamin D3 is sourced from lichen, a plant-like organism that offers a vegan-friendly form of D3.
  • Vitamin C comes from acerola cherry, a nutrient-dense fruit native to Brazil.
  • Vitamin K2 is derived from fermented natto, a traditional Japanese food naturally high in K2 (MK-7).
  • Calcium is sourced from a red algae species, harvested from the North Atlantic Ocean.

However I feel it's important to clarify, while our ingredients are naturally derived, the final formulas do require some man-made processing.

Minerals like magnesium, zinc, and iron are naturally found in the earth and extracted in their raw form. However, the specific forms used in supplements ... like magnesium glycinate, zinc glycinate, or iron bisglycinate ... don’t exist in nature as-is.

These forms are created by binding the mineral to a naturally occurring compound (like glycine, a natural amino acid) to improve absorption and effectiveness.

So while the base ingredients are natural, the final forms undergo a process to make them more effective and bioavailable.

We always prioritise naturally sourced ingredients over synthetic ones ... it’s a key part of our commitment to clean formulations.
