Why do you have small amounts of Maltodextrin in some products?

Maltodextrin is used by most raw material suppliers in very small amounts when you’re converting liquid into powder.

Wherever possible, we look for raw material that doesn’t include it, unless it has been proven to be the best raw material on the market for absorption.

For example, the iron we use is called Ferrochel, which is the form of iron backed by many studies when looking at iron benefits.

Every brand that uses Ferrochel (which is most good quality brands) have a small amount of Maltodextrin in that raw material.

But unfortunately, they’re not required to disclose this, so they don’t. We choose to disclose this though, even if it’s in a tiny amount.

So our preference is raw material that doesn’t include maltodextrin.

Unless a raw material has been proven to be the best on the market, which then we consider a small amount of maltodextrin a worthy trade, for the best.
